Notice on who performs the work, and on licensing in Florida
Port St. Lucie Water Damage Restoration receives calls and web requests about water damage and passes each one on. It does not extract water, dry structures, remediate mold or carry out repairs. An independent, licensed local company (the "partner"), usually the nearest crew with room, performs the work, and that company alone is responsible for its assessments, prices, equipment and workmanship.
In Florida, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation licenses contractors under Chapter 489 of the Florida Statutes, and licenses mold assessors and mold remediators under Chapter 468, Part XVI, and Rule Chapter 61-31 of the Florida Administrative Code. Plumbing is a separately licensed trade. Courts have not spoken with one voice on whether water extraction and drying alone need a contractor licence, and nothing on this website settles that question. Technicians may also hold certifications from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), a non-government industry body. Port St. Lucie Water Damage Restoration and this website hold none of these licences or certifications and make no claim to.
A customer may request the partner's licence number and its technicians' certification details by telephoning (833) 490-5225 at any hour or by asking when the partner calls before the visit. To protect the partner's business information, these details are not published on this website. Customers should verify any licence on DBPR's website before repair work begins, and should read their own insurance policy, because coverage is decided by the insurer.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in Florida is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
